Joanna, My injury symptoms are exactly like yours. Except I had symptoms within three hours of the first injection in January, 2021. Second shot six months later without more symptoms just the same as I was for the interim six months. I began treatment for MCAS and some symptoms receded so in February, 2022 I had a booster. A whole bunch of symptoms appeared after that shot including fibromyalgia and others. I am a senior citizen in a major city. One would think there would be resources studying vaccine injuries. If there are I can’t find them. I am slowly gaining foods, and energy. But I am convinced I will not ever fully recover and I resent my new normal. I wish you strength in your determination. Determination has been my best healing tool. I refuse to give up.
Miriam - I am so sorry that you are also going through this. It's a nightmare; there's really no other word for it. It has been really hard to navigate this in the medical community - so little information in the beginning and so much gas lighting. I do feel like that is changing as there are SO many of us now, and I hope that some of your providers start to hear you and validate your experience...and to give you the resources that we all need to heal. By far getting POTS diagnosed and starting neurological physical therapy have been the biggest game changers for me. MCAS is a wildcard, but seems to be slowly mellowing out with a lot of drugs. I'm sure you are also in that boat. I have found that digging into this injury community has helped my spirits immensely - I no longer feel alone and that's HUGE. Though I am sad that so many of us are experiencing this, it's important to see hear and hold each other. Determination is so crucial - I believe that I will heal. I visualize it, I believe in it, and when I falter my community holds me up and carries me. It is not easy, and it has been despairing at times. but like you, I refuse to give up. We can and will do this. I'm happy to connect with you any time!
Thank you Joanna for everything you do for others. I’m so sorry you are going through this. One positive is that you are aware of vaccine injury and that you know how devastating it can be, and help others get through it.
Many children have been vaccine injured by the children’s vaccine schedule, and sadly now the Covid vaccine has been added to that vaccine schedule as a recommendation to children as young as 6 months old. Babies cannot use words to tell you what’s wrong, they have to suffer through it, and can only cry. I am so saddened by this.
I know what it feels like to be vaccine injured, although my body was able to heal from it. I hope and pray that you and others like yourself can also heal. God bless you.
Mary, thank you for your thoughts and good energy. I am so glad you were able to heal! Hearing things like this is SO important for us - having that hope that though it's hard and scary and confusing, others HAVE healed, and we can and will too. So thank you!
And I hear you about the childhood vaccine schedule. It is concerning - I am by no means anti vax, but this is a tricky situation. It is imperative that we have full transparency by the drug companies, government and media so that parents (and everyone!) are able to make really good, well informed decisions about if/when to vaccinate children and themselves. Hopefully all of our voices will ultimately have that impact - we have wonderful people on this team fighting for visibility and data transparency. Onward!
You have been such an inspiration to so many students and adults in your teaching. Your vaccine injury story is unfortunately all too familiar. Your positive attitude and tenacity will help you in your healing journey. Being part of Team Humanity, I want to work to get you and the other injured the acknowledgement and help that each one deserves.
Joanna, thank you for sharing your story. You have poured into so many people and given your heart to help others in amazing ways. I am so honored to work with you to build awareness of the real, sobering reality of vaccine injury. The MN Team Humanity Triathalon team is racing in your honor and for all the others whose stories aren't being told. Thank you for allowing us to walk with you in your pain and giving us inspiration to get the word out. Those injured by the covid vaccines are marginalized. They are not allowed to be seen or heard. It is wrong, and I am so sorry.
Thanks for your support and solidarity Lorri <3 I appreciate you! And I will be stoked to see you at the tri in august :) You are helping us to be seen and heard, and you are creating a community of love. Thats a BIG deal.

Miriam, are you in Minnesota? If so, we would love to get you connected to Minnesota Team Humanity. You are not alone. 💜
