Carrie, I was at this press conference and Milo's love for you was on full display. Your love and commitment to him was as well. We advocate for many who have been injured but the children are the hardest. Many parents are afraid to speak up and afraid of the backlash that happens from both sides. Thank you for being brave. Thank you for being Milo's unconditional love. The world is a better place because of it.
Hats off to Carrie for her endurance and fierce love for Milo and her family, especially during the last few nightmarish years. I am continually impressed by her strength, persistance and positivity in caring for and nurturing Milo, and her frank and selfless efforts to provide others with the informed consent that continues to be missing. I will never stop praying for Milo's full recovery back to and surpassing his pre-shot health and development. Knowing what a tough little dude he is, along with his Mama and team's support and rallying, it's only a matter of time. 💜🐻
