In Gratitude
Thank you for not turning away from my uncomfortable truth
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I am so gosh darn thankful for each and everyone of you. You are still taking the time to not only read what I write, but to send your good wishes, thoughts and prayers to me and all of us who continue to suffer from the still very taboo topic of adverse reactions to the COVID vaccines.
It has been 4 years and it is not as hot of a topic, however, it is only a little less taboo. Most people have moved on, so taboo or not, the majority of people don’t want to hear about it.
Frankly, I am also trying my best to move on physically, spiritually, and emotionally as well. But, I continue to have reminders every day with tinnitus, muscle twitching, burning and tingling, heart palpitations and horizontal rests on the sofa when I surrender to the fatigue.
And, I can’t move on when I know other people are still suffering alone.
Thankfully, I feel less alone, in part, because you still care about my wellbeing. Even if I am a stranger to you.
I am just one person with one story. You care about my story because you are kind and don’t turn away from uncomfortable truths. You also know I represent many people who had adverse reactions. People like Kristie, Shannon, Kate, Gena, Laura, Ashley, Ben, Jen, Karen, Katelyn, Milo, Darlene, Joanna, Randy, Craig, Brandon, Jason, and Becky. All Minnesotans who are still struggling with side effects from our shots (you can click the links to read their stories).
I sign my emails “In Gratitude” instead of “Thanks” and I truly feel “IN” gratitude. Being “IN” gratitude is a beautiful and healing place to be. At this very moment I am not only so gosh darn thankful, but I am in gratitude to all 840 of you who have chosen to subscribe to Team Humanity’s Substack.
Please help us spread the word. Share this Substack with the links to all of the Minnesota COVID Vaccine injured we thankfully connected with and that were brave enough to share their stories.
Wishing you, your kind hearts and souls and beautiful families hugs, healing, hope and humanity this Thanksgiving. Hug your families tight and let’s stick together human to human through this next year.
In Gratitude,
Suzanna💜

As it is the day before Thanksgiving, your message of "In Gratitude" struck my core. As a fellow Vac Injury person in Pennsylvania, I have been thinking what to say at our Thanksgiving table when I ask everyone to say what they are grateful for each year. Dare I be thankful that I am still sitting around the table despite my many health conditions? For all of my family and friends at this table each year they have heard it now for going on 5 years. Reading your post gave me courage to again be thankful that, despite my many challenges, I'm still here! Thank you Suzanna.
Happy Thanksgiving Suzanna. I’m so grateful to call you my friend
